Terms of Use

About this trial

BrewReturn is a proof-of-concept, offered free of charge. It is still being developed, so features may change, and we may pause or end the service, with notice where we reasonably can. It is run by Intense Coffee (Perseus Computer Services Pty Ltd).

Your account

• There are two kinds of account: café and candidate. Each email address belongs to one kind.
• Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

If you are a candidate

• Ratings are self-assessed, so rate yourself honestly. Cafés are told that levels and evidence are not verified.
• You choose which cafés and roles see your profile, and you can withdraw at any time.
• You are responsible for the evidence notes and links you add. Only add things you are entitled to share.

If you are a café

• Use a candidate's information only to consider them for roles at your café. Don't share it with others or use it for anything else.
• Keep any email address a candidate shares confidential, and use it only to contact them about the role.
• Stop using a candidate's information if they withdraw their share.
• Scores, match percentages and suggested training are a guide only. You are responsible for your hiring decisions and for following anti-discrimination, employment and privacy laws.
• Only add capabilities, roles and training links you are entitled to use, and keep them free of anything private or misleading.

Content you provide

You keep ownership of what you add. You give us permission to store it, display it to the people you choose to share it with, and process it as needed to run the service. If you suggest a capability or training link for the shared set, you also give us permission to edit it and make it available to every user, without payment.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• break the law, or add content that is false, offensive, discriminatory or infringes someone else's rights;
• add links to harmful or deceptive sites, or to files that could harm a device;
• try to see other people's data, break the access rules, scrape the service, or interfere with how it works;
• pretend to be someone else, or use the service to harass anyone.

Links to other sites

Links added by users, including evidence and training links, go to sites we don't control, and we don't endorse or check them. The warning page that appears first is a precaution, not a promise that a link is safe.

What we do and don't promise

• BrewReturn is not an employment agency. We don't check candidates, and we don't promise anyone a job, a hire or a particular outcome.
• The service is provided as is while in trial, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, our liability to you for the trial service is limited to the extent the law allows, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Ending your use

You can delete your profile or account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use BrewReturn after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
